Peace in the Pain

Receive your peace today about the one who caused you pain.

I’ve shared many times the power of forgiveness. I truly believe it’s one of the best ways to hold on to your peace, because in life, many offenses will come.

Master the skill of forgiving and letting it go. Let God judge between you and another. Trying to get revenge or hurt the other person in some way only keeps us bound to the pain. Keep your hands clean. Keep your lips closed. Don’t go trying to ruin their reputation by telling what happened to everyone who knows them and even people who don’t. Talk to God. Talk to a therapist or counselor if needed.

Only God sees the heart. Only He knows why they did what hurt you. Trust Him to be fair and merciful toward them the same way You want Him to be fair and merciful toward you when your actions hurt someone. Trust that God has a way of making it right, because He stands on His promise to avenge His own. BUT, let that be based on His righteous judgment, not your hurt feelings.

Our only job when we’ve been hurt is to forgive and let it go. I’m preaching what I practice. Receive your peace today!
